Xolo has launched its new Q-series smartphone, dubbed Q2500 which is actaully a phablet for Rs. 14,999. Phablet is listed on the company website however, there is no word on the availability of the Xolo Q2500. Xolo notes that the Q2500 will come bundled with a free flip cover and a USB OTG cable.
The Xolo Q2500 runs the dated Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS out-of-the-box; however, the official site claims that the device is upgradeable to Android 4.4 KitKat.
The Xolo Q2500 offers dual-SIM (GSM-GSM) support. The Q2500 features a 6" HD IPS display with a 720x1280 pixel resolution, translating to a pixel density of 245ppi. A quad-core MediaTek (MTK 6582) processor powers the device, clocked at 1.3GHz with a Mali 400MP2 GPU and 1GB of RAM.
The Q2500 sports an 8MP rear camera with LED flash and BSI sensor, while there is a 2MP front-facing camera. The Q2500's rear camera comes with features such as scene detection, HDR, face recognition, Panorama and geo tagging.
The Q2500 comes with 4GB of inbuilt storage, and can be expanded up to 32GB via microSD card. The Xolo Q25000 supports Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS/A-GPS, GPRS/EDGE and 3G connectivity options. It is backed by a 3000mAh battery, which according to the official site can deliver up to 40 hours of talktime and 600 hours of standby time on 2G network. The Xolo Q2500 is available in Black colour variant.
