Samsung Announced Galaxy Tab 4 Range Of Tablets With 7", 8" And 10.1" Screen Sizes

Samsung has officially announed Galaxy Tab 4 tablets today. Samsung has announced the 7", 8" and the 10.1" tablets and they all will become available in the second quarter of this year.

All the tablets boast the same specifications differentiated only by the display size and the battery. The tablets flaunt a WXGA (1280×800 pixels) display of the above mentioned sizes and are powered by a quad-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz and paired with 1.5GB of RAM.

They also include a 3MP rear camera, supplemented by a 1.3MP camera at the front and 16GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 64GB using a microSD card. The 7" tablet has an additional variant with an internal storage of 8GB that too can be expanded using a microSD card slot. As mentioned above, each tablet includes a different sized battery — 8" tablet has a 4,450mAh battery, while the 10.1" tablet has a 6,800mAh battery.

Connectivity options include 3G and LTE support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and on the software front they run on Android 4.4 KitKat. Samsung will also preload these tablets with apps like Group Play, Samsung Link and WatchON and more

There is currently no mention of any prices or which markets will first get these new tablets.
