Lenovo has launched Android-based dual-mode notebook – the IdeaPad A10 in India. This is a mid-range notebook with a modest set of features and is priced at Rs 19,990. The display can flip by 300 degrees to provide a tablet-like experience where the keyboard becomes the stand.
The IdeaPad A10 comes with a 10.1" HD touch display with 1366×768 pixels resolution and is powered by a quad-core ARM Cortex-A9 processor with 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. It has a 0.3MP camera on the front, which can be used for video chatting.
The notebook offers a microUSB port, two USB 2.0 ports, a micro HDMI slot and a microSD card slot to expand the memory. The 1,600mAh battery housed in the device is claimed to run for up to 10 hours. The notebook runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean with Lenovo’s customized skin on the top.
With these features, this notebook could be good enough for those, who are looking for a low-cost laptop but prefer Android over Windows.
