Google rolling out Android 4.4.2 (KOT49H) update to Nexus devices

Google has released Android 4.4.2 OTA update for Nexus devices. The small update brings the firmware on the Nexus 5, Nexus 4, Nexus 7 (both generations) and the Nexus 10 to build number KOT49H. Just last week, Google released Android 4.4.1, an update focused on the camera performance of the Nexus 5; not all users received the 4.4.1 OTA yet, and it’s likely that 4.4.2 will roll out instead.

So far, the changelog for the OTA is pretty basic, below are the details:

• Fix for clearing the VM Indicator
• Fix for delivery of the VM Indicator
• Various additional software fixes
• Security enhancements
