Xolo launched the second smartphone in its Black series, called Black 1X. The smartphone is priced at Rs 9,999 and will be available exclusively via Snapdeal. The first flash sale is scheduled for November 6, and registrations for the sale have already begun.
Black 1X features a metallic frame, glass back, with leather accents at the top and bottom. One of the talking points is the smartphone’s photography chops. At the back is a 13-megapixel with LED flash and Phase Detection auto focus, which the company claims can focus on a subject in less than a second. Up front, there is a 5-megapixel selfie camera alongside a LED flash.
Xolo Black 1X flaunts a 5-inch full HD (1920×1080 pixels) display with 441ppi and Dragon Trail Glass protection. Under the hood is a 1.3GHz MediaTek MT6753 octa-core 64-bit processor paired with 3GB LPDDR3 RAM.
Also on offer is 32GB internal storage, which can be expanded up to 128GB using a microSD card. The smartphone also features a 2,400mAh battery, and connectivity options like dual-SIM card slots, 4G LTE support, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, and GPS. On the software front, it runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop wrapped under the company’s HIVE Atlas UI.
At this price point, the Xolo Black 1X will face some stiff competition from the likes of the YU Yureka Plus, Lenovo K3 Note, and the Meizu M2 Note to name a few.
