Most of the leaks surrounding the iPhone 6s have been about positive upgrades, except for one that was released last week. Now, new leaks suggest that Apple would not scrap the 16GB base variant after all but will have 2GB of RAM.

The first leak comes from Dutch tech blog TechTastic revealing the chipset of the iPhone 6s as well, apart from stating that it has a 2GB RAM. The smartphone will sport a 1.5GHz tri-core A9 processor. The publication notes that when it compared the iPad Air 2's performance (which has a A8X processor) with the iPhone 6s’ new chipset, the smartphone was much faster and energy efficient.
Another leak on Weibo states that the iPhone 6s’ A9 chip will be 15 times smaller than A8, and that the 16GB variant will return. The iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus will come in 16GB, 32GB and 128GB variants.
Apple is set to release the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus next month. So far we know, that the upcoming iPhone 6s is said to have a 12-megapixel camera, Force Touch tech and stronger casing to avoid Bendgate
