Blackberry Z30 Price Reduced To Rs 34,990 In India

BlackBerry has announced a limited period discount offer on the Z30 smartphone to celebrate its tenth anniversary in India. The company has reduced the price of the phone by 12 percent and is now selling it for Rs 34,990. The phone was launched in India at Rs 39,990 in October 2013. Recently BlackBerry had cut the price of the Z10 to Rs 17,990 after which it went out of stock. The Z10 was restocked earlier this week.

The company says that this ‘10th anniversary special offer’ on BlackBerry Z30 will be applicable for 60 days starting from March 27, however we doubt if the company would actually again hike the price of the phone to its launch price. BlackBerry has also tied up with Flipkart, which it says will be the exclusive retailer for the white version of the BlackBerry Z30.

The Z30 was the first phone to come with BB 10.2 version. It has a 5" Super AMOLED display and is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro processor clocked at 1.7GHz with 2GB of RAM. Other features in the phone include an 8MP rear camera, 16GB of internal storage, micsoSD card support, and a battery that the company claims will last up to 25 hours.
