Nokia Announced 3 New Android Smarphones, Nokia X, X+ And XL

Nokia has officially launched its very first Android devices, known as the X, X+ and XL during the Mobile World Congress press conference. All 3 devices  will be based on the forked AOSP Android system similar to Amazon offering on its Kindle Fire tablets, which Nokia says will give the advantage of the Android ecosystem, but with a "differentiated experience." So far, Here Maps, MixRadio, Skype and Outlook will be offered. User can access the Nokia and third party stores using the devices, but not Google Play.
The Nokia X is available immediately, in countries including  India, for 89 Euros, while the Nokia X+ and the Nokia XL will be available in the second quarter of this year for 99 Euros and 109 Euros respectively.

The Nokia X is a 4" WVGA (800×480 pisxels) display device and is powered by a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon dual-core processor paired with 512MB of RAM. Other features include 4GB of storage with microSD support, 5MP camera and a 1,500mAh battery. The Nokia X+ has similar specs, albeit with more internal storage.
Nokia XL is a bigger 5" Android device. It'll have a WVGA (800*480pixels) IPS screen, a 5MP rear / 2MP front camera with an LED flash, 768MB of RAM and 4GB of storage. As with the X, X+ and XL, there will be no Google services or Play store, so you'll have to access apps through Nokia's store and other third-party Android markets.

Nokia has built the interface around something called FastLane. When you swipe across it, it'll bring up a sort of notification bar, featuring recent apps, missed calls and texts and other activities. When you bring up the Nokia store, it'll show recommended apps, and Elop also showed Aero Express, a Russian-flavored app that he pulled down from the Yandex store.

All these devices have dual-SIM capabilities and as an introductory offer, Microsoft is offering buyers one month free calls Skype, and 1GB of OneDrive storage.
