Huawei has announced three new devices, two tablets called the MediaPad X1 and the MediaPad M1 and the Ascend G6 Android smartphone at MWC in Barcelona.
The MediaPad X1 is a 7" tablet, which is quite slim at just 7.18mm thickness. It is equipped with a full HD 1080p display with 323ppi and is powered by a 1.6GHz quad-core processor. Other features include a 13MP rear camera, 5MP front camera, 16GB internal storage that can be expanded using a microSD card slot and a 5,000mAh battery. It has a SIM card slot with support for 4G LTE and on the software front it runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean.
The 8" MediaPad M1 tablet has a 1,280 x 800 IPS display with stereo front-facing speakers, and comes with the 4,800mAh battery, that can offer upto 8 hours of movies watching on one charge. Other specs include a 1.6GHz quad-core chip, a 1MP front camera and a 5MP main camera, all tucked within a 7.9mm-thick body.
The Ascend G6 sports a 4.5" qHD (960×540 pixels) display and is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor. Other features include an 8MP (with Sony's IMX134 sensor) rear camera, 5MP front wide angle front camera, 8GB of internal storage that can be expanded using a microSD card slot and a 20000 mAh battery. Connectivity options include 4G capabilities and on the software front, it runs on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean.
