Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update rolling out for Samsung Galaxy Note II in India


Samsung has started rolling out Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update for Galaxy Note II users in India via an OTA update. Who haven’t been notified about the update can check their ‘About Phone’ option in the settings menu. If you are not getting the notification, we suggest to wait for a while as Samsung may be rolling the udpate in phases.

The 4.3 Jelly Bean update brings Galaxy Gear smartwatch compatibility to the Galaxy Note II. Additionally, Samsung is brining KNOX, better RAM management, improved performance and UI and also some security enhancements.

  • New Reading Mode (Optimizes display for reading, used by only a few specific applications)
  • New Camera firmware, Sound & shot
  • Minor UI tweaks (Contacts app, Flashlight Widget, dialog boxes etc)
