Huawei Ascend P6 launched in India for Rs 29,999

Huawei has launched the Ascend P6 in India with a price tag of Rs 29,999. Earlier known as the world’s thinnest phone, the P6 is mere 6.18mm in thickness.

Ascent P6 comes with a 4.7-inch HD in-cell display with a resolution of 1,280 x 720 pixels. The device also comes with a really thin bezel as well as on-screen buttons. In terms of audio, it comes with Dolby Digital Plus sound. Phone is powered by a quad-core K3V2+ processor clocked at 1.5GHz, coupled with 2GB of RAM. The P6 weighs in at 120 grams and supports 2G and 3G networks.

The smartphone comes with 8GB of internal storage that can be expanded via a microSD card slot. On the camera front, the P6 comes with an 8-megapixel camera sporting an F/2.0 BSI lens on the rear and a 5-megapixel front shooter. The handset runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean with a layer of Huawei’s customary Emotion UI on top. It supports GSM/UMTS/HSPA+. Connectivity-wise, it comes with Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, DLNA, Wi-Fi Direct, Wi-Fi hotspot as well as Bluetooth 3.0. Rounding up the package is a 2,000mAh battery.
