Samsung Galaxy S5 was supposed to be made available from April 11 in 150 countries worldwide but Indian Online retailer Saholic.com has already listed the next Samsung flagship smartphone for Rs 45,500 (spotted by SamMobile). In fact, Saholic is also promising to deliver the device by March 8 and will pay Rs 50 for every day if the delivery is delayed.
You can also opt for an EMI scheme on the Galaxy S5, wherein you need to pay Rs 2,839 per month.
The pricing is on par with what Samsung generally offers its latest flagship at. This is actually a bit surprising as reports arising post the unveiling suggested that the Galaxy S5 would be cheaper than the likes of the Galaxy S III and the Galaxy S4 at the time of their launch.
The Galaxy S5 comes with a 5.1" 1080p display and is powered by a 2.5GHz Snapdragon 801 quad-core processor and paired with 2GB of RAM. Other features include a 16MP rear-facing camera, a 2MP front-facing camera and a 2,800mAh battery. Connectivity options include LTE support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and on the software front, it runs on Android 4.4 KitKat. The device is water resistant and also includes extra features like a fingerprint scanner on the home button and a heart-rate monitor.
