An overwhelming demand for the Moto G 16GB saw exclusive retailer Flipkart run out of stocks in a matter of minutes. Flipkart faced a lot of criticizm from unhappy customers and started accepting reservations for the Moto G 16GB. Now it seems all the pending demands have been met and the Moto G 16GB is back in stock.
Flipkart claimed that the traffic for the Moto G was unexpected and was in fact greater than what it usually encounters during Diwali sale. With only Rs 1,500 separating the 8GB and the 16GB variants, buyers seemed to prefer the latter. The demand was such that once the page went live, the 16GB variant sold out not once, but twice, in a matter of minutes. Many people who managed to book the 16GB variant on day one were left fuming after Flipkart had to delay their shipment by a week.
The Moto G features a 4.5" 720p display, 1.2GHz Snapdragon 400 quad-core processor, 1GB RAM, 8/16GB internal memory, 5MP rear camera, 1.2MP front facing camera and a 2,070mAh battery.
Connectivity options include dual-SIM card slots, 3G support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and on the software front, it runs on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean (now upgraded to Android 4.4.2 KitKat).
