Amazon India is selling the 64GB Wi-Fi variant of the first generation Apple iPad mini at a discounted price of Rs 26,999. The shopping portal is offering 20 percent discount on the MRP (Rs 33,900) of the iPad mini Wi-Fi only variant in India.
Apple had recently also announced a buyback offer for the first-generation iPad mini, under which an interested buyer could exchange an old tablet or laptop or even a netbook for a minimum of Rs 5,000 off on a brand new iPad mini. Under this scheme, Apple priced the iPad mini Wi-Fi for Rs 16,990 and the Wi-Fi+Cellular version for Rs 25,999. The scheme was followed by a discount offered by Flipkart which is offering up to Rs 9,000 off on 16GB version of the first generation model of the iPad mini. However both Apple and Flipkart have not mentioned any discount on the 64GB variant in India.
