Lava has launched the Iris Pro 30 smartphone under its new Iris Pro premium series. Weighing at just 114 grams and sporting a form factor just 7.5mm thick, the Iris Pro 30 has been priced at Rs 15,999.
The Iris Pro 30 comes with a 4.7" HD (1280*720p) display with Corning Gorilla Glass shielding it. The phone is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor and 1GB of RAM and SGX544 GPU. In terms of storage, it features 4GB of internal storage, which can be expanded by up to 32GB using a microSD card. Also included is a 2,000mAh battery, which the company claims is good enough for 4.5 hours of talktime and 400 hours on standby mode.
The Iris Pro 30 sports an 8MP rear snapper with dual-LED flash and a 3MP camera at the front. Wireless connectivity options in the phone include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/AGPS and 3G (HSPA+) network support. On the software front, it offers Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean out-of-the-box and comes with CABC Content Adaptive backlight control for the display. The Iris Pro 30 also supports over the air (OTA) updates.
If I am not much mistaken, the Iris Pro 30 looks a lot like iPhone 4S. You can share your views in the comments section.
