Google has launched the LG Nexus 5X and the Huawei Nexus 6P at an event in San Francisco. These new smartphone go on sale in the US, UK, Ireland and Japan next month, with pre-orders going live tonight. While there is no official word on Google’s plans for India, the smartphones’ pricing have been revealed on the Google Play Store.
As seen in the above screenshot, prices for the LG Nexus 5X start from Rs 31,900, while the prices for the more expensive Huawei Nexus 6P start from Rs 39,999. These prices are no doubt for the 16GB variant and the 32GB variants of the respective smartphones. Prices for the other variants are yet unknown.
Google will also be launching a bunch of accessories for both the Nexus smartphones. There are a bunch of USB Type-C chargers for both smartphones, with prices starting from Rs 909.99. These include the USB Type-C to USB Standard-A adaptor (Rs 909.99), the USB Type-C to USB Standard-A Plug Cable (Rs 909.99), USB Type-C to Type-C Cable (Rs 1,399.99), and the Universal 15W USB Type-C charger, priced at Rs 1,799.99.
Furthermore, Google will also be launching phone covers for each of the smartphones. For the Nexus 6P, Google will be launching the Nexus 6P Folio (Rs 3,900), Nexus 6P Case (Rs 2,800), Adopted Protective Case for Nexus 6P (Rs 1,800), and the Speck Candyshell Grip case for Nexus 6P (Rs 3,000).
For the Nexus 5X, Google will be launching the Nexus 5X Folio (Rs 3,200), Nexus 5X Case (Rs 2,800), Adopted Protective Case for Nexus 5X (Rs 1,800), and Speck Candyshell Grip case for Nexus 5X (Rs 2,500).
