Nokia unveiled the Asha 502 alongside the Asha 500 and Asha 503 at the Nokia World 2013 back in October. Today the company listed the device on the Nokia India Store for Rs 5,739.
The Asha 502 follows the new Asha design language, with the crystal frame. In terms of specifications, it features a 3-inch QVGA (320×240 pixels) display, 64MB of RAM, 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, expandable memory using a microSD card, FM Radio and a 1,010mAh battery, which the company claims is good enough to last 13.7 hours of talktime and 24 days on standby mode.
Connectivity options include dual-SIM card slots, Bluetooth 3.0 with SLAM, AV jack, WLAN and micro-USB port. On the software side, the phone runs on the new Asha platform that introduces a new UI with easy swipe-able multiple homescreens with Fastlane feature amongst others. It's worth nothing that the Nokia Asha phones do have access to popular messaging app Whatsapp.
