Huawei Revealed Android 6.0 Marshmallow Update Roadmap

Huawei has revealed its Android 6.0 Marshmallow update roadmap for its handsets, with the first updates due to start rolling out in November. The Chinese telecommunications giant made the announcements on its Weibo and Emotion UI pages.

The company said the Ascend P8, Ascend P8 max, Mate S, Mate 7, Ascend G7, Ascend G7 Plus, and Ascend G8 smartphones will receive the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update. As for its Honor brand of smartphones, Huawei said the Honor 7, Honor 7i, Honor 6 Plus, Honor 6, MediaPad X2, Honor 4X, and Honor 4C are eligible to be upgraded to Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

Keep in mind that the list is actually for Chinese variants of the aforementioned handsets, so the global rollout plan for them could vary.
