Oppo has launched two new smartphones in its ‘R’ series, called the R7 Lite and the R7 Plus. Priced at Rs 17,990 and Rs 29,990, respectively, the R7 Lite is expected to go on sale from September 10, whereas the R7 Plus is expected to be available from September 25.
Both the Oppo R7 Lite and the Oppo R7 Plus look similar in terms of design. The metal unibody chassis adds to their premium look and feel.
Oppo R7 Lite specifications and features: The smartphone flaunts a 5.2-inch HD (1280×720 pixels) AMOLED display and is powered by a 1.3GHz Snapdragon 615 octa-core processor paired with 2GB of RAM. It comes with 16GB of onboard storage and is also equipped with microSD card slot for further expansion.
On the camera front, the Oppo R7 Lite sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a front-facing 8-megapixel camera. The handset packs a 2,320mAh battery, and comes with connectivity options like dual-SIM card slots (nano SIM and micro SIM), 4G LTE support, Wi-Fi ac, Bluetooth, USB OTG and GPS.
On the software front, it runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS with ColorOS 2.1 running on top. The Oppo R7 Lite also comes with support for fast-charging.
Oppo R7 Plus specifications and features: The smartphone flaunts a 6-inch full HD (1080×1920 pixels) AMOLED 2.5D display protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It is powered by 1.5GHz Snapdragon 615 octa-core processor paired with 3GB of RAM. It comes with 16GB of onboard storage and is also equipped with microSD card slot for further expansion.
On the camera front, the Oppo R7 Plus sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with dual LED flash, laser auto-focus and a front-facing 8-megapixel camera. The handset also packs a 4,100mAh battery with fast-charging support.
Connectivity options include dual-SIM card slots (nano SIM and micro SIM), 4G LTE support, Wi-Fi ac, Bluetooth, USB OTG and GPS.
