Motorola Launched Moto 360, Moto 360 Sport, Prices Start At $300

Motorola’s next-generation Moto 360 has been subject to a lot of leaks in the past couple of weeks. We already had a fair idea about what to expect from the smartwatch, before the company unveiled it at IFA 2015.

Motorola has retained much of the design language on its new Moto 360. There is however one big change, and that is on the position of the physical button. Instead of the 3 o’ clock position on the first-generation smartwatch, the button on the new Moto 360 is at the 2 o’ clock position.

Furthermore, as is the case with all recent smartwatches, the new Moto 360 too is available in two sizes — 46mm and 42mm. It also now includes traditional lug mounts to give users a chance to change the watch straps.

The smaller 42mm variant features a 1.37-inch display, and a 270mAh battery, while the larger variant features a slightly larger 1.55-inch display with a 375mAh battery. The company also claims that the battery life is much better than the first generation smartwatch.

Motorola has also launched a variant for sports enthusiasts, called Moto 360 Sports. The Sport edition features a rubber body with built-in GPS, heart rate sensor, and an AnyLight Display, which is legible under bright sunlight as well.

The new Moto 360 is priced at $300- Rs 19,856 (approximately) for the 42mm variant, and $430- Rs 28,460 (approximately) for the 46mm variant. Motorola hasn’t revealed the details of the Moto 360 Sport, keeping it for a later date.
