InFocus today launched its latest LTE enabled smartphone, the M812 in India. The smartphone is priced at Rs 19,999 and will go on sale exclusively via Snapdeal on October 1. Registrations for the first sale, kick off today on the e-commerce site.
The M812 boasts a unibody design, which the company claims is sculpted out of a single block of aluminum. The company has managed to keep the handset slim with a thickness of only 7.3mm, and weighing only 120 grams. The overall look of the smartphone resembles Apple’s iPhone 6s.
InFocus M812 smartphone sports a 5.5-inch full HD (1920×1080 pixels) IPS display protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3, and is powered by a 2.5GHz Snapdragon 801 64-bit quad-core processor paired with 3GB of RAM.
Also on offer is 16GB internal storage, which can be expanded using a microSD card. On the photography front, it features a 13-megapixel rear camera with true-tone LED flash, supplemented with an 8-megapixel front-facing camera wide angle lens.
The smartphone also features a 2,900mAh battery, with the fast charging capabilities. The company claims that it can be charged to 40 percent in about half hour, and as for battery life it is good enough for about 500 hours on standby mode.
Connectivity options include 4G LTE support, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 4.0, and GPS, and on the software front, it runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop wrapped under Inlife UI.
