Micromax has expanded its selfie-focused smartphone series by launching the Canvas Selfie 2, and the Canvas Selfie 3. Both the smartphones are targeted at the selfie lovers. The Canvas Selfie 2 features 5-megapixel cameras at the front as well as the back, while the Canvas Selfie 3 features 8-megapixel cameras at the back as well as the front.

Canvas Selfie 2
The smartphone flaunts a 5-inch (854×480 pixels) IPS display, and is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor paired with 1GB of RAM. Also on offer is 8GB internal memory, which can be expanded up to 32GB using a microSD card.
The smartphone also features a 2,000mAh battery, connectivity options like dual-SIM card slots, 3G support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, and GPS. On the software front, it runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop.
Canvas Selfie 3
This smartphone, on the other hand, features a 4.8-inch HD (1280×720 pixels) AMOLED display protected with Corning Gorilla glass 3. Under the hood is a 1.3GHz quad-core processor paired with 1GB of RAM. Also on offer is 8GB internal memory, which can be expanded up to 32GB using a microSD card.

The smartphone also features a 2,300mAh battery, connectivity options like dual-SIM card slots, 3G support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, and GPS. On the software front, it too runs on Android Lollipop. Further proving how it is targeted at selfie aficionados, Micromax is also bundling a Bluetooth-enabled selfie stick with the smartphone.
As far as price and availability are concerned, the Canvas Selfie 2 will retail at Rs 5,999, and will go on sale on August 22. Micromax hasn’t revealed the pricing of the Canvas Selfie 3, instead only saying that it will go on sale towards the end of this month.
