Sony Xperia T2 Ultra phablet is listed on Indian e-commerce websites Saholic.com for Rs 32,000 with expected delivery of 5-6 days starting from 26th February.
The Xperia T2 Ultra is equipped with 6" HD (1280×720 pixels) Triluminous display with 2.5mm bezels and Mobile BRAVIA Engine 2 display technology. It runs on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean and is powered by a Snapdragon 400 quad-core SoC clocked at 1.4GHz and paired with 1GB of RAM. Sony is also offering 8GB of internal storage that can be further expanded to 32GB using a microSD card.
On the photography front, the phablet features a 13MP rear camera with Exmor sensor and supplemented by a 1.1MP camera at the front. Other features include a 3,000mAh battery, which the company claims can survive up to 14 hours of talktime and 1,071 hours on standby mode and. Connectivity options include Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and NFC. Though Sony also has a dual-SIM variant called the Xperia T2 Ultra dual, surprisingly, only the single-SIM variant was spotted online.
Priced at Rs 32,000, the Xperia T2 Ultra will be up against the likes of the Huawei Ascend Mate and the Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3, which offer similar set of specs but are lighter on the pockets at Rs 24000 and Rs 27999 respectively.
