Dell Launched Intel Atom-Powered Venue 7 And Venue 8 Android Tablets In India For Rs 10,999 And 17,499

Dell has launched two new Android tablets in India called the Venue 7 and the Venue 8. Both the tablets are powered by an Intel Atom chipset and are priced at Rs 10,999 and Rs 17,499 respectively.
The Venue 7 comes with 7" (1200×800 pixels) display and is powered by an Intel Atom Z2760 dual-core processor clocked at 1.6GHz and paired with 2GB of RAM. Other features include a 3MP rear camera, VGA front camera, 16GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 32GB using a microSD card and a 4,100mAh battery, which the company claims is good enough to survive 10 hours of HD video playback. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS and on the software front, it runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.

The Venue 8 comes with 8" (1280×800 pixels) display and it is also powered by an Intel Atom Z2760 dual-core processor clocked at 1.6GHz and paired with 2GB of RAM. Other features include a 5MP rear camera with support for 1080p video recording, 2MP front camera, 16GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 32GB using a microSD card and a similar 4,100mAh battery.

Connectivity options on the Venue 8 include optional 3G support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS and on the software front, it runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.
