HP announced Slate 6 VoiceTab phablet and Slate 7 VoiceTab tablet for India

HP today has announced two new droids – the Slate6 VoiceTab phablet and Slate7 VoiceTab tablet – which it will launch in India next month. Both the devices have been planned specifically for India.
The Slate 6 VoiceTab comes with a 1280x720p 6" IPS display, while Slate 7 has 1280x800p 7" IPS display. Both devices will be powered by quad-core processors, however the chipset vendor’s name has not been disclosed at the moment. They will come with 16GB of internal memory along with up to 32GB of external memory support using a microSD card.
Both the devices will run on Android and will come with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean out of the box. Without disclosing the megapixel count, HP says both devices will come with high-resolution front and rear cameras. The phablets will also have front firing speakers, which could be similar to the HTC One.

Connectivity-wise both of these will come with dual-SIM compatibility and will support 3G connectivity. HP has not revealed the price of the phablets and will host a launch event in India in February where it will reveal both the price and detailed specifications.
