Celkon has launched the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean based S1 smartphone in India at Rs. 14,999. The Celkon S1 smartphone offers dual-SIM (GSM-GSM) support, and features a 5" Full HD 1080p OGS IPS display. A quad-core processor powers the device, clocked at 1.5GHz (unspecified chipset), along with 1GB of RAM.
The smartphone features a 13MP rear camera with dual LED flash, while there is an 8MP front-facing camera. The Celkon S1 smartphone comes with 16GB inbuilt storage, while there is no word on expandable storage.
The Celkon S1 smartphone supports Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Micro-USB, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack and 3G connectivity options. It is powered by a 2300mAh battery, and is available in Black colour only. The smartphone weighs 137 grams.
