Explore new places in India using Google Map's Explore feature

Google today launched a new Explore feature in its maps today, which will be available in India. The feature gives recommendations of places in the vicinity. Explore lets users to find places to eat, drink, play, shop and sleep. The list of places has photos and user reviews on Google Maps. The feature would come handy when users are in a new city and want to explore what’s in their vicinity.

Nokia has a similar offering called Nokia City Lens which is a camera-based augmented reality app that offers the places of interest in the vicinity.
